ESTEBLISHMENT OF THE ORGANIZATION
Founded on 6th october, 1998 by IBRAHIM HAVINASH KENIE SHAID (may his soul rest in peace ). And with the help of Mr. David Savolla. Talented Young People Everywhere (TYPE) Sierra Leone is one ofthe lead national Non-Governmental Organization Orgnized by young people from Port Loko district with a scope to serve as a "voluntary" child and youth centered community development And empowerment organization without religious, political focus, TYPE-SL vision is a strive towards good governance,employment,empowerment,sustained development and to maximize self-reliance in youths, with increased access to education and vocational skills or livehood, access to good health, while ensuring participatory service delivery in various development sectors with other stakrholders like GOSL and international NGOs that share similar vision, mission with that of TYPE-SL. TYPE-SL strives to achive lasting improvements in the quality life of children, youths, woman and deprived communities through a process tnat unites them across cultures and adds meaning to their lives.
